Pressure

Overview

ProFlow Instrumentation Systems Inc.

ProFlow offers a wide range of pressure devices: switches, gauges, pressure transducers, pressure transmitters, and specialty transducers for oil and gas, subsea and wastewater.

Because the range of products is so extensive, we are available to assist in selecting the right device for your application. If you have special needs, many of our suppliers offer custom products to meet your exact needs. And we can build these products into a complete turnkey industrial control package.

Pressure Switches

DP Sensor

SOR pressure switches are rugged field-mounted instruments. The pressure sensing element of the SOR pressure switch is a force-balance, piston-actuated assembly. The sensing element is sealed by a flexible diaphragm and a static o-ring. A wide selection of wetted parts materials for media compatibility and containment are available. A metal diaphragm may be welded to the pressure port for certain applications, thereby eliminating the o-ring.

SOR also manufactures a range of differential pressure switches featuring a two-piece piston design which allows for complete differential pressure reversal without damage.

Pressure Gauges

Pressure Gauge

REOTEMP pressure gauges, manufactured under ISO 9001 quality standards, are available in a wide variety of sizes, ranges, and configurations to meet the demands of any application.

REOTEMP Series PR gauges offer rugged, all-welded stainless steel construction. In 4" and 6" dials, the tube, socket and case are all welded together, offering superior case sealing and gauge integrity. The stainless steel case, tube and socket make these gauge ideal for applications involving corrosive environment or media. Liquid Filling (at the factory or in the field) is available for severe service. The removable bayonet ring makes the PR gauge field repairable.

REOTEMP Series PT Process Gauges are designed to withstand corrosive atmospheres and media, pulsation and vibration. This is a very rugged gauge engineered for the process industries. The solid front/blowout back provides a high degree of user safety.

We also offer high visibility dials, low pressure capsule design, sanitary gauges, high precision test gauges, differential gauges, vacuum gauges, and custom colour band gauges.

Pressure Transmitters

Pressure Transmitters

REOTEMP TRANS-P LINE pressure transmitters and transducers all convert applied pressure to an electrical signal that can be interpreted by a computer or other interpretive device, where it can be used to display or control a process variable. Ranges from vacuum to 60,000 psi are available.

Optional high accuracy, heavy duty, flush mount, sanitary mount, submersible, and explosion proof gauges are also available.

SOR manufactures a wide range of compact, loop powered pressure transmitters to accurately and reliably measure system pressure at an economical price. The stainless steel pressure port, Viton o-ring seal and ceramic sensor make the wetted parts chemically compatible with most gases and liquids.

Flush Diaphragm and Sanitary Pressure Transmitters

Sanitary Pressure Transmitters

GP:50's flush faced pressure or tank level transmitters provide an excellent solution where media being measured would otherwise clog a standard process connection. Tri-clamp connections down to 3/4 inch are available for food and pharmaceutical applications.

DPU Based Differential Pressure Instruments

DP Gauges and Switches

With more than one million of Cameron's Barton Brand DPU-based instruments in service around the world today,Cameron's Measurement Systems division is a premier supplier of reliable and accurate differentialpressure units.

Originally developed in the early 1920s, Cameron's differential pressure technology features a welded bellows assembly that increases accuracy while dramatically reducing the effects of wear. To facilitate quick and easy repairs all DPU based instruments are supported with pre-calibrated exchangeable or repairable sub-module bellows assemblies.

Differential Pressure Transmitters

Differential Pressure Transmitters

GP:50's line of DP transmitters provide differential measurement with ranges from 0- 0.5 inches of water thru 0-15,000 PSID.

Available with standard 316L stainless steel wetted parts, these units are also available in exotic wetted parts, including Monel®, and Hastelloy®. Most units offer Hart® protocol in addition to standard 4-20 mA output.

Water Treatment Pressure and Level Transmitters

Water Treatment Pressure and Level Transmitter

GP:50 provides solutions for most every level and pressure application found in the water treatment industry. From lift station, pond, weir or tank level, pressure transmitters for line or pump pressures, to the Blue Ribbon line of pressure gauges and pump controllers they have a unit to meet your needs.

The Model 311-M351 Lift Station Level Transmitter is specially designed for harsh wastewater level applications like sludge level. The unit's all welded steel construction and rugged encapsulated electronics ensure leakproof reliable operation. The unit is intrinsically safe and RFI and surge protected.

Submersible and Sub Sea Pressure Transmitters

Submersible Level Transmitters

GP:50's line of submersible transmitters provide rugged, accurate, level measurement from 0-20" WC thru 0-1,200 FT WC. 316L SST or Titanium construction provide years of corrosion free service. Whether measuring tank level or sludge in a lift station, GP:50 provides submersible level solutions for all your application needs. GP:50 manufactures a number of transmitters specially ruggedized for the unusually harsh conditions of deep sea work. Included in this range is the model 7500 submersible sub sea pressure/level transducer that is rated for 22,000 feet of see water, and is navy qualified.

Oil and Gas Pressure Transmitters

Oil and Gas Pressure Transmitter

GP:50 provides oil and gas pressure instrumentation designed for the rigors of fracking, cementing, acidizing, and other well servicing applications as well as all other pipeline, sub sea and well head applications.

Of special interest to the oil and gas industry are the highly durable model 170, 270 and 370 pressure transmitters and the model 271 and 371 temperature transmitters, featuring the Weco® style hammer union connector.

Industrial and Test Stand Transducers

Industrial and Test Stand Transducer

GP:50's line of industrial pressure transducers provide proven solutions for the most extreme hydraulic and pneumatic control systems, including products for die caster and injection molders, automotive and industrial test stands as well as general-purpose pressure measurement. All this comes at a competitive price with industry required performance.

The line includes the low range models 210/310 (0-5" WC through 0-200 psi) to the high range models 111/211//311 (ranges to 0-15,000 psi). Also in this line are high accuracy transmitters with optional accuracies down to 0.1% FSO and low, medium and high range differentials transmitters.
