Valves

Overview

ProFlow Instrumentation Systems Inc.

ProFlow represents several valve manufacturers. ARI specializes in valves, and offers a wide range of passive and active valves for control and safety applications. SAFi is also a valve specialist. Their area of specialty is thermoplastic valves, ideal for lower temperature and pressure applications, where corrosion resistance is of paramount importance.

Several of our other vendors supplement their line with specialty valves. For example, Cameron Measurement Systems manufactures a line of high quality pilot-activated relief valves. Contact us for assistance in selecting the best valve for your application.

Ball Valves

Two Piece Valves

Full bore ball valves offer unimpeded flow in the fully open position.

Triad two piece ball valves are full port, silicone free valves that come standard with lever locking device.

The special drilling of the valve automatically bleeds the interior of the valve once the valve is closed.

Bellows Seal Valves

Bellows Seal Valves

ARI bellows seal valves are reliably sealed, even under the most adverse conditions. The bellows-type valve is maintenance-free and, like all ARI valves, is classed leak rate 1 in accordance with DIN 3230T3.

Manufactured from cast steel PM 25 to ANSI 300, these valves are available in sizes from 1/2 to 12 inches, with a choice of straight-through or Y-pattern design. An easy operating hand wheel offers safe operation at all working temperatures.

For corrosion resistance, the bellows is made of chrome-nickel steel, and all internals (stem, disk and seat) are made from stainless steel. The disk is flexibly attached to stem for easy replacement and to prevent vibration transfer to the bellows.

These valves are suitable for steam, gases, hot water, thermal fluids, hot oil, process water, vacuum facilities, ammonia and other aggressive media.

Butterfly Valves

Butterfly Valves

The Triad Series 750 has a cartridge seat design to alleviate installation problems associated with the dove-tail-design (booted) seats. It has a phenolic backing that keeps the seat from shifting during installation, reducing tearing and fatigue. Precision machining of the disc and body allow the cartridge design to maintain a tighter disc to seat tolerance, providing a perfect low torque seal each and every time the valve is cycled.

Standard valves are compatible with cold water, warm water, hot water, and drinking water. Select stainless steel for process water and corrosive media.

Radius Valve Actuators and Accessories

Direct Mount Electric and Pneumatic Actuators

Radius™ offers uncompromising standards of safety, reliability, and value in their valve actuators and accessories. Their engineering standards ensure that the Radius™ Series A pneumatic rack and pinion actuators, Series K Scotch Yoke actuators, EW and ER Series electrics are more than suitable for plug, ball, butterfly valve and damper applications. Dollar for dollar, Radius™ offers one of the finest lines of valve actuators and accessories in the industry.

The Radius™ Series K scotch yoke actuators are specifically designed for use with quarter-turn valves. The Series K is available in spring return and double acting with torques ranging from 4,000 in. lbs. to 310,000 in. lbs. With 78 different models available, please review the full brochure to determine which model fits your application.

Pressure Regulation, Pressure Reduction, Pressure Relief

Control Valve

ARI makes a wide range of control valves for isolation or control applicationa. Globe valves or 3-way control valves with electric or pneumatic actuators are used for cold/warm/hot water, steam, neutral liquids, gases, thermal fluids, hot oil etc. These valves are suited to temperatures of -10C up to +450C according to material.

ARI also manufactures direct loaded safety valves for blowing off excess pressure from steam, vapor, gases and liquid from pressure vessels, steam boilers, hot water boilers and piping systems. ARI-"SAFE" safety valves are available in full-stroke and normal versions.

And for pressure regulation, ARI offers rugged valves with flanged connections and a straight through form. Suited to operation where the temperature body is from -10C to 350C, they are available in various pressure ranges.

Relief Valves

Relief Valves

Cameron Measurement Systems offers a unique line of pressure relief valves. In the mid-1940s, a new relief valve actuated with a pilot rather than a spring set a new standard for pressure control. These valves, manufactured over the years by companies like Garrett, USI, Axelson, and NUFLO, are now manufactured and sold by Cameron's Measurement Systems division.

The NuFlo pilot-operated pressure relief valve is an example of a tradition of advanced design and high-quality manufacturing abilities. These valves offer advantages not found in other relief valves - spring or pilot operated.

And for pressure regulation, ARI offers rugged valves with flanged connections and a straight through form. Suited to operation where the temperature body is from -10C to 350C, they are available in various pressure ranges.

Thermoplastic Valves

Ball Valve

SAFi has over 30 years experience in manufacturing high quality thermoplastic valves, specifically designed for use in hazardous environments and with corrosive chemicals.

When dealing with hazardous chemicals, valve failure is not an option. 100% product testing assures that SAFI valves work first-time, every-time. SAFI can offer individual valve test certificates and custom tagging.

SAFi manufactures thermoplastic ball valves, diaphragm valves and butterfly valves, as well as actuated valves, all for use in highly corrosive hazardous environments.
