Level

In recent years, level measurement has become and increasingly important component of our product offering.

One of our major vendors, Joggler, specializes in level, offering an extensive range of products including level gauges and level switches, and a host of level technologies including magnetic level gauges and transmitters, radar, and ultrasonic.

In addition to Joggler, many of our other suppliers offer one or more technologies for level measurement, including PresSure Products Company, SOR, Hycontrol, and Kayden. Technologies including site glasses, site gauges, differential pressure level gauges, submersible level gauges and more are available from these vendors.

Temperature

Since temperature has always been a key process parameter, it occupies an important place in our product line. Temperature is the main business of one of our key vendors, REOTEMP, and several other vendors round out our temperature offering, including Status Instruments and SOR.

From basic thermometers to thermocouples, RTDs, thermistors, and temperature transmitters, ProFlow Systems has a temperature measurement solution for virtually any application.

In addition to temperature sensors we also supply head mounted and DIN rail mounted temperature transmitters, thermowells and a full line of accessories.

Pressure

Pressure is another process parameter that is key to any process control system. Consequently, we have a very extensive offering, including gauges, transducers, transmitters, and pressure switches. We have specialized products for industries including oil and gas, food, pharmaceuticals, and water and wastewater.

Several of our vendors offer pressure products as key components of their product offering, including SOR, REOTEMP, GP:50, and Cameron Measurement Systems.

Because the range of products is so extensive, we are available to assist in selecting the right device for your application. If you have special needs, many of our suppliers offer custom products to meet your exact needs. And we can build these products into a complete turnkey industrial control package.

Valves

Valves are a key component in any turnkey industrial control package. We offer a wide range of valves from several of our key vendors to meet a variety of needs.

ARI specializes in valves, and offers a wide range of passive and active valves for control and safety applications. SAFi is also a valve specialist. There area of specialty is thermoplastic valves, ideal for lower temperature and pressure applications, where corrosion resistance is of paramount importance.

Several of our other vendors supplement their line with specialty valves. For example, Cameron Measurement Systems manufactures a line of high quality pilot-activated relief valves.

Nuclear

Over the next several years, as the need for low greenhouse gas power becomes critical, nuclear power generation will become an even more important component of Canada's power gird. To meet this need, ProFlow has built relationships with several vendors with expertise in the special needs of process control in nuclear plants.

The 1E nuclear qualification recognizes the unique needs for extreme durability and reliability. Two of our prime vendors, Cameron Measurement Systems and SOR, have made significant investments in their nuclear certified products. In addition, products from several of our vendors have found applications in the nuclear industry.

Humidity

In many industries, and in particular in the food and pharmaceutical industries, relative humidity is a key process parameter. Low humidity can cause product to dry out, and high humidity can cause contamination, product clumping, and even encourage growth of mold.

Unfortunately, humidity transmitters built to industrial process standards are hard to find. Fortunately, ProFlow Instrumentation Systems carries a range of temperature/relative humidity transmitters which are ideally suited to the harsh demands of the process industry.
