Differential Pressure Switches and Gauges

DP Gauges and Switches

With more than one million of Cameron's Barton Brand DPU-based instruments in service around the world today, Cameron's Measurement Systems division is a premier supplier of reliable and accurate differential pressure units.

Originally developed in the early 1920s, Cameron's differential pressure technology features a welded bellows assembly that increases accuracy while dramatically reducing the effects of wear. To facilitate quick and easy repairs all DPU based instruments are supported with pre-calibrated exchangeable or repairable sub-module bellows assemblies.

Cone Type Flow Meters

Cone Type DP Flow Meter

When the toughest oilfield conditions stand between you and a successful job, you can count on Cameron to deliver products that are equally tough. Long-lasting protection from corrosion, resistance to abrasives, special designs for taking on heavy solids, or for metering products like nitrogen or carbon dioxide. Cameron's reputation for manufacturing some of the most durable and dependable flowmeters on the market was not built on product alone. Cameron also stands behind its products with a staff of professionals who have the expertise to guide every customer to the meter that is best for his specific application.

Cameron supplies meters for all of the major flow measurement technologies, including:

  • Differential Pressure Cone Meters
Guarantees a unique solution outside the scope of traditional technologies.
  • Turbine Meters
Accurate and repeatable measurement with long service life even in severe applications.
  • Ultrasonics
A well respected supplier to the nuclear, hydro and defense industries
  • Orifice Fittings, Meter Runs, Plates.
One of world's largest manufacturers/distributors for Orifice Fittings, Plates, Meter Runs and Accessories.
  • PD Meters
Staples in harsh environments that demand consistent, repeatable and rugged performance.

PD Flowmeters

DP Flow Meter

The Floco Series F Meter is a positive displacement meter with a unique rotor design that provides sustained accuracy even under adverse conditions. It accurately measures viscous, waxy, corrosive and abrasive liquids to within 1% maximum accuracy.

The Series F Meter measures liquid by separating it into equal portions and counting them. Liquid enters the meter through the inlet port, where the bridge deflects the liquid downward to strike the rotor blades and turn the rotor. The liquid then passes through the outlet port, which is aligned with the inlet port. The unique rotor design allows solid particles and sediment to pass through the meter without causing damage or malfunction.

Bridge seals prevent the liquid from passing to the outlet port without being measured. Floco meters are unique in that the more viscous the process fluid, the better the meter performance. High viscosities allow the meter to measure low flow rates with improved accuracy.

Turbine Flow Meters

Turbine Flow Meter

First developed in 1957, NUFLO turbine meters are both rugged and field-proven. This key product line has grown and developed alongside the requirements of the international oil & gas and process control industries. Today, NUFLO turbine meters have an unsurpassed reputation for withstanding severe environmental punishment while maintaining operational and measurement integrity.

BARTON 7000 series turbines are designed for a broad range of precise liquid measurement applications. Based on 35 years of turbine manufacturing, this built-to-order series features a range of sizes, materials, bearing systems and options.

NUFLO Gas Turbine Flowmeters feature a transducer that utilizes a lightweight, low inertia rotor to sense gas velocity. It offers an output frequency that has a linear relationship to gas velocity over a wide flow range.

NUFLO developed its first flowmeter for oilfield applications in 1957. The meter incorporated a tungsten-carbide shaft and bearing to withstand the rugged conditions of the oilfield environment. Over the years, this flowmeter has built an unsurpassed reputation for withstanding severe punishment while maintaining operational and measurement integrity.

The unique replaceable rotor kit design of the NUFLO Series 1000 Top Insertion Meter makes this flowmeter one of the most user-friendly solutions on the market for liquid measurement.

The NUFLO 1502 WECO Union Liquid Turbine Flowmeter incorporates a tungsten-carbide shaft and bearings to withstand the rugged conditions of the oilfield environment. Over the years, this flowmeter has earned an unsurpassed reputation for with-standing sever punishment while maintaining operational and measurement integrity. WECO union turbine flowmeters indicate flowrate and measure total throughput of a liquid line.

Flow Electronics

Flow Computers

With more than a quarter of a million units in operation, in applications around the world, Cameron is the undeniable leader in the design and manufacture of flow electronics. From the straightforward MC-IITM Totalizer, which provides rate and flow, to the Scanner 2000 microEFM which provides an easy to use, ultra low power solution, BARTON and NUFLOTM are considered pioneer brands in the development of electronic flow measurement technology and its adaptation to oil and gas applications.

Cameron supplies meters for all of the major flow measurement technologies, including:

  • Differential Pressure Cone Meters
Guarantees a unique solution outside the scope of traditional technologies.
  • Flow Computers
70 years measurement experience culminates in premier line of automation products and systems
  • Totalizers & Flow Analyzers
Delivers a broad range of functionality and capability for state-of-the-art liquid and gas measurement
  • Transmitters
Combines the accurate and stable measurement of differential pressure, static pressure and temperature with high speed input sampling/averaging and communications capabilities

Chart Recorders and Controllers

Chart Recorder

Barton chart recorders are the industry standard for accurate, reliable measurement and recording of pressure, differential pressure, and temperature in a wide variety of applications. In addition, DP models utilize Barton's rupture-proof bellows DPU as the actuating unit with features like over-range protection and pulsation dampening (on some models).

Recorder cases made of rugged, lightweight die-cast aluminum, features a built-in rain-shield to ensure water tight reliable operation. Optional stainless steel cases are also available where greater corrosion resistance in needed.

All parts of the recording mechanism are stainless steel for long life. The pen mount is exceptionally rugged and pen shafts are fitted with ball pivots to minimize friction.

"Woodfree" paper charts ensure low shrinkage and high reliability. Versatile mounting options include wall mount, panel mount and pipe mount for complete versatility of use.

Releif Valves

Relief Valves

In the mid-1940s, a new relief valve actuated with a pilot rather than a spring set a new standard for pressure control. These valves, manufactured over the years by companies like Garrett, USI, Axelson, and NUFLO, are now manufactured and sold by Cameron's Measurement Systems division. The NuFlo pilot-operated pressure relief valve is an example of a tradition of advanced design and high-quality manufacturing abilities. These valves offer advantages not found in other relief valves - spring or pilot operated.
